End of Year Appeal
Dear Publicolor Family,
As we approach the end of our fiscal year, Publicolor is facing a critical funding gap due to an unexpected cancellation of one source of government funding. Despite the abrupt loss, we remain committed to fulfilling our promises to our students. But to do so, we need your caring support.
Your generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of young people like Melady, who grew up living in shelters with five siblings and a single mother escaping from an abusive relationship. She switched schools so often that learning was impossible. Joining Publicolor gave her a sense of stability and belonging.
“Being in Publicolor has helped me to be more confident. The staff helped me think outside the box and opened my eyes to better possibilities. They made me feel seen. After high school, I’m going to college to become a teacher to help other students feel heard and supported.”
We’re so proud Melady found her purpose, thanks to our caring community and thoughtful long-term programs. Your support will enable Publicolor to provide life-changing opportunities that help thousands of students realize their full potential.
Your gift today will help us:
Bridge this funding gap so we can continue transforming dreary schools into energizing learning environments where students and teachers feel safe to learn and teach. Attendance improves for teachers and students at every Publicolored school.

Keep our vital summer program fully operational. For 7 weeks, we will dedicate our afternoons to transforming under-resourced schools from prison-like to warm, welcoming, and safe.

We know that economic uncertainties have impacted us all. But we also trust the caring generosity of our supporters. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution before June 30. Your donation will make a significant difference in the lives of our students. Thank you for standing with us during these most challenging times. Every gift helps us close this gap and continue showing up for our students.
