Food insecurity is threatening our country’s future. When children go to bed hungry, they can’t sleep. When they go to school hungry and tired, they can’t concentrate. At Publicolor we’ve been giving our students healthy snacks every day they’re with us, and healthy meals every Saturday since we began. But once covid hit, learning that 79% of our families report food insecurity, we began delivering 2 large healthy food packages a week to all 79%. Today we’re giving all 79% one huge healthy food package a week.
